Music Is In My Family

Music is in my family.
Although, the styles vary somewhat. My brothers share a similar style—various types of metal. In fact, one brother. Rudy, is an amazing guitar player, and can hold his own with double bass drumming as well.
The other brother, Tim, is good at playing…the CD player and “air drums”. He’s more the “ear” of music than the player. But he has good taste.
My sisters are a little lighter on the scale. One, Cassie, has a varied range from contemporary Christian music to rock with some country thrown in. She often plays live music at her local church in Missouri.
My youngest sis, Alexis, likes…well…everything. I mean it. She can jam out to metal, country, hymns, folk styles, all sorts of rock, and even some techno and rap. Not sure how those last two crept in but they did.
She goes by T-Lex and sings and plays guitar or the ukulele with Tharran on a woodbox electric hand drum. They tour around Southern Illinois (and sometimes Western Illinois). She has a tour schedule (that is subject to change) here: https://www.facebook.com/TLexTharranAlexis/
But there is a neat balance of musical styles that have graced my family. Some that made me sit up and take notice…and other times...made me want earplugs! 🤣
God bless,
